Policies on Cancellation and Changes

Independent Travel Cancellation and Change Policy (Except for Escorted Vacations):

Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you cancel your booked reservation for some flights from the United States within twenty-four hours of making it if the reservation is made a week (7 days) or more before the flight’s departure, you will not be charged a fee and will receive a refund.

You should be aware of your carrier’s cancellation policies. Whether bookings are made through a contact center or the website, all featured self-drive and independent package payments, as well as customized booking payments, are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Penalties for air modifications vary. Changes to airline reservations have a determinable minimum fee. After tickets have been issued, spelling modifications to clients’ names are subject to airline change fees. Prices are subject to change at the discretion of the tour operator at any moment.

Change and Cancellation Policy for Escorted Vacations

Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. For some flights from the United States, you can cancel your booked reservation without penalty and obtain a refund if you cancel it within 24 hours of making it if the reservation is made one week or more before the flight’s departure. This is subject to the specific carrier’s terms.

It is your duty to be aware of the cancellation policies of your airline. All trips will be charged a price for any changes to the land components, as well as any additional expenditures incurred. Penalties for air modifications vary. Changes to airline reservations must cost at least $100 per passenger each segment.

If your roommate cancels and you are booked in a double or twin room, you will be charged the single supplement. It is not possible to change your name or transfer your reservation.

Booking

Reservations can be made online at www.haloflights.us or over the phone.

All reservations are subject to availability at the time of the reservation. We cannot guarantee that any of the travel services we advertise, including those on our website, will still be available when you make your reservation. We will confirm the availability of your chosen travel services once you have submitted a booking request.

When you book online, the order summary email you receive is an acknowledgement that we have received your offer, not a contractual acceptance of the supplier’s capacity to supply these travel services.

If the travel services described on our website are available, we will send you a booking confirmation, which is when your contract with us begins, and you have entered into a legally binding agreement to purchase those travel arrangements, subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier and your agreement with Halo Flights.

It is your obligation to ensure that all names shown on the booking confirmation correspond to the passports of the passengers in your party, and that the travel schedule meets your needs. After flight tickets and other travel papers have been issued, changes are unusual and may involve additional fees.

Please double-check all travel documents for accuracy, including names, dates, and timings, and notify us immediately if there are any errors or omissions. Unless otherwise noted, any flight tickets or other merchandise provided are non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable.

Flight Reservations

Seat availability and pricing are at the discretion of the carrier. Flight times are estimates and are subject to change based on the airline’s booking policies. The majority of airlines indicate that reservations are non-refundable.

Fares: Because airfares can change quickly after an initial quotation is received, please pay within 1 hour of your booking being confirmed to ensure the fare offered. If your fare has changed by the time you make a payment, you have the option to cancel the reservation and receive a full refund.

Please be aware that some flights are indirect and fly through other airports. If an indirect route is available, all flight stopover information will be provided at the time of booking.

Baggage allowance: Depending on the itinerary, the passenger’s free baggage allowance varies greatly from airline to airline. The usual baggage allowance provided by the airline is included in our rates. Some airlines may enable you to add more luggage after you’ve made your reservation; this is dependent on the rules and restrictions of the specific airline, which you should consult.

Holding luggage is considered an optional extra by several airlines. When flying with an airline that charges for hold luggage, it is not included or displayed in our headline pricing, and you will be given the option to purchase this extra service at the time of booking.

If you do not want to take any hold luggage on your journey, you will be given the standard hand luggage allowance as specified in the airline’s booking rules, which is usually between 5 and 10 kilograms, but please check your ticket confirmation for details. Bags must be no larger than the dimensions allowed for carry-on luggage by the airline in question. Please see the airline’s booking conditions for more details.

Check-in procedures are detailed in the booking confirmation email that we send to you. Some airlines require this check-in to be done online; if this is the case, failing to check-in online will result in you having to pay check-in fees at the airport. It is solely your obligation to follow the airline’s check-in procedures and arrive for your flight on time. Because of a no-show or late check-in at the airport, tickets cannot be reimbursed or altered. We recommend arriving at the airport three hours before your departure time to give enough time for security and check-in processes. 60 minutes prior to departure, check-in counters often close.

Changes and cancellations: Most airline reservations are non-refundable, and any changes or cancellations will result in fees. For more information, please see the individual airline’s booking conditions. Please contact us if you need to make any changes or cancel your reservation, as we are your booking agent.

Refunds for Services Not Utilized

Once travel preparations have commenced, there will be no returns for unused vouchers or services.

Behaviour

In order to ensure the safety of all parties participating in the travel transaction, we, as the firm, provide our operators the authority to remove and reserve the right to accept or reject any traveler/passenger whose behavior is judged incompatible with the interests of the other participants. As a result, if we (have to) dismiss you, we will not be liable for refunding or compensating any costs/expenses spent.

You agree to be responsible for any loss or harm caused by you or your behavior by booking with Halo Flights or dealing with the contents of our website.

CDC Order: COVID-19 Testing Requirement

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued an order on January 12, 2021, requiring all air passengers arriving in the United States from a foreign country to be tested no more than three days before their flight departs and to present a negative result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding. This Order became effective at 12:01 a.m. EST (5:01 a.m. GMT) on January 26, 2021. Each passenger is responsible for complying with this regulation.

The websites of the US embassies in various countries have information on where to get local COVID-19 tests, as well as verification of negative results. You may see a list of these websites here.

Special Assistance

Please be sure to inform us of any disabilities you or the person(s) for whom you are booking a vacation/flight have. When disabled tourists’ specific needs are brought to our attention, your Operator will make reasonable efforts to accommodate them. It should be noted, however, that some hotels, destinations, or attractions may not be accessible to those with disabilities. Unfortunately, we cannot be held liable for any airline, hotel, restaurant, or other independent supplier’s failure to provide services under such circumstances.

The Americans with Disabilities Act only applies within the United States of America, and there are few suitable facilities for disabled visitors outside of the country. We regret that we are unable to give specific help to participants with regard to boarding and disembarking from transportation, dining, walking, and other personal needs. In these situations, we strongly recommend traveling with a companion who can physically aid and look after the travelers’ well-being.

Accommodation

All ratings are either provided by the relevant supplier or are our own average ratings based on our understanding of the industry and input from customers. Our own ratings are clearly labeled and are meant to provide an evaluation of the services and amenities you may anticipate from your lodging. Standards and ratings might differ significantly between countries and suppliers. Any ratings given cannot be guaranteed to be accurate. We took reasonable efforts to determine the official rating of the accommodation and have included it in the description of the accommodation on our website.

Passports & Visas

You are responsible for obtaining and paying for all visas and entrance paperwork, as well as any other documentation required by the laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the countries you will be visiting. Non-U.S. citizens must check with the proper consulates to see whether any visas are required, and they are responsible for getting all visas and entry documents on their own. The Operator is not liable for any visa or passport-related information or documentation. The Operator cannot be held liable for any passenger who is denied admission aboard any mode of transportation or into any country because they do not have the proper documentation. A passport is essential for all travellers flying internationally.

The passport must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the end of your journey in most countries. When traveling, it is suggested that you have at least three vacant pages in your passport, as many nations demand blank pages. Some vacations necessitate multiple-entry visas. You are responsible for double-checking any visa and passport requirements.

Payments & Prices

All taxes, additional fees, charges, and prices confirmed at the time of booking are included in the price of your vacation. Where such additional taxes, fees, charges, and costs cannot be estimated prior to your making a reservation, you will be provided an indication of the types of additional costs that you may still be responsible for.

Depending on when you book your travel arrangements in relation to the travel departure date, you will be required to pay an installment/deposit on account of the complete price or the entire balance at the time of booking. You must also pay any booking costs that apply.

If only a portion of the payment is made, the remaining balance must be paid by the due date shown in your booking confirmation. Failure to do so may result in the principal(s) or supplier(s) canceling the booking and imposing cancellation fees as specified in their terms and conditions.

Contract

We will arrange for you to enter into a contract with each of the third-party suppliers of your travel arrangements (such as a tour operator, airline, cruise line, accommodation provider, car rental provider, and transfer provider) as specified on your booking confirmation when you make your reservation. When we provide you the booking confirmation, your contract is formed.

Your booking with us is subject to the terms of the Halo Flights Agreement as well as those of the third-party suppliers, who have their own terms and conditions that govern the services they provide, to which you will be bound.

Your booking with us is subject to the terms of the Halo Flights Agreement as well as those of the third-party suppliers, who have their own terms and conditions that govern the services they provide, to which you will be bound. If a supplier’s term or condition conflicts with your Agreement with Halo Flights, the supplier’s term or condition that conflicts with ours will take precedence, unless it is deemed invalid or unenforceable under US law, in which case the relevant term or condition in your Agreement with Halo Flights will prevail. Some of our suppliers’ terms and conditions may limit or exclude their obligation to you, and they may also limit or exclude our liability to you because they relate to your relationship with us. International treaties often govern the terms and conditions of suppliers, limiting their (and our) liability. On request, copies of the relevant supplier’s terms and conditions, as well as any applicable international conventions, are provided.

Unless otherwise noted, we assume no responsibility as an agent for the suppliers’ acts or omissions, or for the travel services they provide.

Complaints

We will assist you with any issues as the agent, and you may email us at [email protected]. However, because the contract(s) for your travel arrangements are between you and the principal(s) or supplier(s), any questions or issues about your travel arrangements should be directed to them first.

If you encounter a problem with your travel plans while on vacation, you must immediately notify the principal/supplier/local supplier as well as the travel agent. If you do not follow this protocol, the principal/supplier will have less time to investigate and resolve your issue. As a result, the amount of compensation you are entitled to may be decreased or eliminated entirely.

If you have a complaint, please write to the principal/supplier when you get home. Any confirmation paperwork we send you will include your name, address, and contact information. If you need assistance, please email us at [email protected].
